The Contract Research and Development Group is committed to working closely with customers to meet their needs and timelines. This group includes ceramic and catalytic engineering
expertise unparalleled in most other companies. This gives our customers a great advantage in the development of new materials, shapes and processes for a broad range of applications.
After developing new products, our customers often hire us to toll-manufacture these formulations or shapes.
Product Development
Applied Ceramics has a Research and Development department that works with customers and partners to create solutions while using our technology or expertise. At any given time, there are typically multiple projects underway at various stages. These projects can be as simple as using a current product for a new application or as complicated as creating a new product or technology not currently in existence.
Design Support
Applied Ceramics has a proven history of working with other companies to meet their goals both domestically and internationally. We have many examples of successful ventures
and partnerships to use in developing new ways to jointly solve problems in industry.
In all cases, these projects produced cost savings designs, which saved our partners large amounts of time and resources. Our group is dedicated to producing solutions that
create value for all stakeholders in the process.
Where appropriate, Applied Ceramics has the ability to create a lab scale process and then convert it to a pilot production line. These pilot lines are sometimes more appropriate
to operate in advance of a new market offering or simply a potential.
Ventures / Licensing
The strong Research and Development focus of Applied Ceramics leads to many opportunities to expand new technology. The new technology can be used in existing products or markets or used to create new products or markets. Often times, Applied Ceramics will partner with other companies to create synergy to maximize the capability of the technology in the marketplace. The management holds a network of skilled professionals trained and
able to complete many different types of deals. Depending on the situation and the needs or skills of the entities involved, the deals may take many different types of forms in order to maximize value.
